  1. So I got a wooden cabinet 54 tall 20 wide 38 long :-\. I got three plants in there 3rd week of flowering. The three of them are lined up left to right there's two around 25 inches and one thats 20 inches in the middle. I have 12/12 light cycle with 11, 26w 2700k cfls 2 26w 6500k cfls, And 1 68w huge cfl 2700k.
I setup the tall plants on the far right and far left with the lil guy in the middle. This way i can put the big cfl in the middle right above the lil guy and the two big guys are getting light on the sides/top. I got the lil'er cfls 4 of them each on the tops of the big plants the lil guy tho has only room for the huge cfl seeing how I rly cant setup anything above it no room. I got on the back floor behind the plants a lamp setup with 1 6500k cfl 26w/ 1 2700k cfl 26w on the lower levels of the plants in the middle so its evenly giving light to the 2 plants on the left at same time. Also another 2700k 26w on the other side (front)floor in front of the plants but its only getting a lil light to the two plants on the right.

2 mini desktop fans on the floor moving air around too

and 1 attach duct fan saw'd into the side of the cabinet two to vent the air

been using fox farm trio pack right now been giving 1 teaspoon of big bloom/1 teaspoon of tiger bloom together in a gallon of tap water. I soak them till they drain water out the bottom. Then wait 3-5days till the soil is completely dry'd out.

The plants seem to be getting a lot hairs all over the main stem from just above the middle point on up. there also clusters forming on the tops of other stems too.

My problem is I'm really tight on space and there leave r tangling up with each other clover up important clusters from light there just big fan leafs. I was wondering if i should just clip them off would it really hurt the plant of i started clipping the big non hair cluster leafs off? Also it seems like the lower levels in middle where sum tiny cluster are trying to form arnt really getting light. idk what to do............ shit....
rly want light to reach the lower and middle level of clusters

the mid level stems with clusters r rly spreading out could i just wrap a string all the way around them to push the stems to go up.would this cause any problems.

sorry if some of this doesnt make sense im half asleep

    PLZ LEAVE FEEDBACK

i cant leave pictures SORRY FOR NON :(

  2. You can definately tie the branches up some to train them. Alot of people recommend trimming off the very bottom branches that are hardly growing bud so she doesn't have to waste energy on them and the main and middle cholas will get bigger.

Training the stems up with some gardening wire and tying back some of the fan leaves if they are blocking the light cannot hurt at all. Even if the branch is bent far enough to crack a little it will mend itself and you may even see an explosion of growth on the other side of the damage as the plant focuses attention on that limb until the healing is complete. Of course you may be able to easily tie them up and tie back the fan leaves without worrying about cracking the stem. Either way you should be good.

Some people like to trim some fan leaves but most say tie them back. And if you do trim never go more than 25-30%.

Might help if you can get a couple pics up.

hmmm any leafs that arnt a part of a main cluster can be trimd?

  4. Take a look at my journal. There's a pic one of the pros highlighted for me to show me the chop zone on the bottom

    forum.grasscity.com/showthread.php?t=822798

Clearing off the bottom branches not getting as much light is one thing but the big fan leaves, especially forward the tops are the power producers so you want to avoid chopping them off. Tying them back so they can still do their job (maybe not as much but they still work for you) is better than cutting them off.

I cut off only the very bottom branches and fan leaves that did got grow up to the light and where not producing buds as well as the middle and upper branches. Some ppl recommend giving 24 hours of dark after a trim to let them heal more and then back to 12/12

Any particular reason you can't get pics up. Would be easier to highlight the chop zones for you and show you what is safe to cut. You should get the idea if you check out some of the posts on my thread though. I had alot of pro advice given to me there

  5. saw ur thread we got sum plants look liek and light setup :)

so cutting leaf from bottom/mid leveel should be ok even fan leaves?

  6. Thanks twista, my phone app doesn't make it as easy to find the resources. Good stuff.

Try to stick to trimming off the bottom branches and fan leaves that will not produce for you then give it a week or more to heal before moving up the plant to trim the leaves closer to the buds. If the leaf is showing trichomes try to leave it if you can, or take the half of it not showing chrystals. Be careful not to over trim the plant starting out. I usually trim right after I water when the lights first come on because thats when photosynthesis starts and they seemed to heal up a little faster. After they suck up the fresh water and nutes then the lights go out, the energy stored up by the photo process mends it well during the first dark peoriod but I hear 24 hours of dark after a trim is good.

    Good luck.

I've seen you around. Its very likely I've taken your advice at least once in the past

Im no expert so I'm always glad to see good stuff from the veterines. The tips I've gotten from GC and its patrons have gone a very long way in my grow and I've yet to be dissapointed

  9. Its not TWISTA you see around its ********. With over 15,000 posts. If only you knew who i was. LOL

  12. If you cant post pics then it just becomes a guessing game and i aint playing. Sorry.
    :D

  13. online = to anyone to see seems to risky to post pics up :\

  14. Dont be so paranoid. If you are worried about pics just open an account at www.photobucket.com and keep it locked using a random name. :)
    (paranoia will annoy ya).

  15. You need pics to get answers and i have no shame in showing my plants but i dont. I have my own cannabis website and i am the owner and i dont stress about fuck all. My website has pictures of my face on it in amsterdam smoking weed and all sorts. Never get paranoid about anything or lay off the weed. This site is not as secure as mine for seeing pics and other items as you must register first.

    :D
