Hitting "too hard"?

    What up blades, quick question.

    Last night I was going to a local lake to smoke, when a random friend hit me up to smoke. Him and our other friend came, and we toked. Cool. Here's where my question is though. Before hand I rolled a fat J to smoke. They got there, we lit it up and smoked. However about halfway through one of my friends looked at me in the back and goes, this is hittin kinda hard bro, cool if I roll it into my bong here? I was like, confused but high, so I was like go for it. Is there a point to rolling where you make them too fat or some shit where smokers say it hits too hard? (They roll skinny ass long joints, but I think that shit sucks personally hahaha). Anyway, just curious. Thanks everyone for your opinion.

    If the joint was hitting too hard, then what is putting it in a bong gonna do? Lol a bong hits harder then a joint.
    I personally love when the joint is straight ripping with full hits as long as its not burning fast.
    I wouldn't have liked him taking apart my J. Lol

    Yeah haha I'm still kinda new so I was surprised by it. I just started rolling Js too so I'm still new at that, but I love taking full huge rips from a fat cone so I wasn't sure how other smokers felt. Damn so I rolled a fatty that made some "seasoned tokers" (heh) vag out on me, hahaha. Woo

    Edit: yeah I also wasn't too happy he was taking apart one of my better creations lol...I tend to stop giving a shit when I'm baked but remember it later and think wtf, kinda unfortunate

    Thanks man, that's a positive sign for my terrible beginnings lol.

    It's so damn tranquil dude! Wish you could be here to experience it, it's like 20 feet below this small road so no worries with cops or people seeing. Just sit in my car, play some tunes, hotbox and look out over a quiet lake hahah. And at night the stars and moon off the lake and trees surrounding the lake is nuts. (Note this is not me coming on to you or anything over the web hahahah, I'm baked and in love with this smoke spot, had to share)

    Hmmm I'd be weary of those friends mate. If they roll skinny ass joints and want to unravel yours.. I'd just be very careful of them ripping you off. Keep your eye out for them doing shit like that, and if you catch them, don't smoke them up again.

    Ahh, I wish I was at a lake with a fattie right now! Damn.

    You ever go out of your car and check out what's down there? Lol I would be walking around finding more spots. It's more adventurous. Long as its not freezing out. But that's just me.

    Ah, ya know I never thought they might be rippin me off for my bud, but some other things are kinda makin that seem pretty possible. Thanks for the heads up.

    Yeah there's some nice day trails around the lake that me and some friends walk/smoke/explore, pretty fun stuff! At night it's pretty impossible though because with all the trees it's virtually pitch black lol, and lots of trail breaks and branches so knowing me I'd have to sleep in the dirt for the night while stoned hahah!

    wouldnt you just hit the joint more gently yourself?? also any time i had to take weed out of a joint and slapped it in the bong it never really lights well and its well pointless really you shud slap your friends mums faces with your dick

    Maybe it was just rolled too tight ya know?
    Just because someone can roll the fattest j doesn't mean its the best by any means.

    Edit: so if its like trying to suck an orange through a straw, Fuck yeah I'm putting that in a bong.
    I'll admit. I still roll joints too tight sometimes Haha. Them Damn elements papers!

    The absolute idiocy of his question from the second he asked it has me stunned...

    Like really? A bong hits 10x harder than a joint, and personally there's nothing I like more than a nice hitting blunt or joint.

    He's probably just used to smoking shitty joints that pull gently.

    Appreciate the input guys!

    I can usually tell when a j is too tight to hit haha, but thankfully my rolling skills haven't gotten me to the point where I roll them tight enough to do that lol.

    I know that a bong hits harder, personally I'm more of a j guy myself, but I was just curious if that is a normal thing for someone to say when smoking something rolled, sorry if my question is that dumb, man.

    Next time ill stick up for my shit and tell him to sack up and keep hitting the j haha
