Hip Hop

  1. I've never really been much of a fan of hip-hop, mostly because all I've been exposed to is what they play on the radio and MTV and I really can't relate to busting a cap in, well whatever. The thing is, a buddy of mine introduced me to Dead Prez the other day and I not only liked the music but enjoyed the message as well. It was definitely more thoughtful then the majority of the stuff I've heard on the radio.

It seems like a lot of the blades here are into hip hop, so I thought this would be a good place to ask for some more hip hop music with a good sound and a thought provoking message. Anyone have any recommendations?

  2. omg check out immortal technique. i also don't care much for hip hop but this dude is the sharpest lyric writer i have ever heard. exept maybe by old friend bob Dylan. dude is super clever and keep a strong political message.

search for him on youtube or just torrent some of his stuff. best hip-hop artist bar non.
