Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by stephes123, Aug 15, 2012.

  1. been smoking for about 3 months now like 4 times a week, and I've noticed it takes a little more to get me high but the Highs aren't fun anymore... I just feel lazy and tired.. Why is this?!?!?

Sounds like it's probably time for a t-break.

EDIT: now that I've read 8ight's reply below, that sounds more like the situation.

  3. Happened to me as well, cept I was smoking almost all day every day. It gets to the point where you gotta stop man. People forget that when they used to get crazy high, they were probably just getting into weed and not smoking very often. Moderation and tolerance breaks go a long way.

  4. Four times a week isn't too much, you could take a break but I don't really think that's the issue.

My experience, when you first start smoking you get the very euphoric highs, everything all crazy happy and extreme munchies.

But it's like most things. Say you get a new car, the first day you'll probably be the most excited about it. After a week, less excited. A month, probably don't even think of it much. A year? It's just another car. Same idea with bud, and it's different for everyone.

The first few times I smoked, I could listen to any godawful music and love it. I could be totally engrossed in some boring movie. I toss anything/everything on a piece of bread and it would still taste amazing. This is all a bit of an exaggeration, but the point is that the environment wasn't AS important then.

Now, my "boring high" won't get me to enjoy bad music and such. But, I like that better. And it's not boring, you just need to have your stoner activities and such. Aaand, I think I might be rambling. And I've been reading Hopglock's sig...

Ya that makes sense, I miss the old highs!!!

  6. Have you tried switching up the strain you're smoking. Maybe you need something more powerful. What about switching up your smoking spot, smoking method, the people you're smoking with? These all factor in to your high. 4 times a week isn't that much at all. Your tolerance shouldn't be that high.

  7. Wait for your tolerance to go back down.

  8. Try mixing it up, do something you normally wouldn't do. Go enjoy nature. there is always something new to experience while high. Also if you smoke at night try it during the day and vice versa

  9. Only solution is to move to heroin. It sucks at first, but you get used to it.

  10. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

    HAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAH oh my dear lord

  11. I was thinking a combination of a lot of things these fellows are all telling you, I doubt your high will ever be as amazing as the first couple of times unfortunately. However I'm sure if you take a T-Break for a good solid month or so, then get yourself a hard hitting indica you'll be set. Along with getting one or two buddies with you, smoking with others is great.
    Hope this helps.

  12. think your weed cherry has just been popped completely now! those highs are gone forever.

  13. Okay, but say you take a break from driving that car for a year. (A nice ass car if you smoke dank) Imagine how'd you feel after a year of not driving.T-break is the answer. :smoke:

  14. Find something fun to do

  15. Dude i really think that has nothing to do with it hes probably been eating heaps of junk food which is also ruining his highs op take a t break for a week. take omega 3 and 6 cause from all the junk food youve been eating for months its caused you to have dud receptors so now you've gotta eat healthy so your receptors are back to normal again and then you will get high again.

  16. you will get your highs back if you take a t break and let your receptors repair i know what the lazy tired high feels like it fucking sucks if thats all i got everytime i smoked id quit weed

  17. Take a tolerance break man. This happened to me a few weeks ago, I would still get high but not as strong and I was burning through weed faster.

I took a tolerance break for a few weeks and took nothing, not even alcohol. only cigarettes. felt refreshed too man. got some green in last night (stuff isnt great but hey, we take what we can get over here), but it definitely gets me stoned to the balls.

  18. Maybe. I just never understand everyone saying "t-break" here all the time. Personally, I've NEVER needed a t-break to enhance my high. I actually think it's kinda silly. But I eat very healthy, am very active/in good shape, use a vaporizer, and only vape at night (usually on my day off I'll vape all day). So maybe you've got a point there with the "junk food" as well. :)

  19. Dude i never fucking said you eat junk foood really i was only guessing because im sure 80% of stoners eat alot of junk food when they get the munchies.

  20. Well obviously if your at home not talking to bitchs not chilling with your boys doing absolutely nothing with your life then yah...

blazings going to seem a little boring
