Calling all GC growers....... this is my first grow indoors. pics to be posted in a day or two, but i wanted to list me setup and properly explain the grow thus far.... i had out of 4 bagseed(first grow more to come ) i only had 2 females and 2 males. we vegged on 24/0 cycle for around 3 1/2 weeks give or take under our 250watt metal halide. we r using 2 gallon pots and our own mix of soil. mind u everything is organics....6 part promix, 2 part earthworm castings, 2 part perlite and a little bit of lime. fert wise we r using botanicare probloom veg, and for flowering we r using probloom flower. we r also rocking the liquid karma for nutrients and every 2 weeks adding some molasses to the watering cycke. we r in the second going on third week of 12/12 and i am really enjoying the first pistol formations well thats about it until i have the pics up, comments appreciated...... to add, we r growing in a 4 foot cabinet. we have topped and fimmed all plants and we water about every 2 days, using ferts in every other watering session stay blazed GC
I love watching flowers grow. They seem to take forever. Always in the back of my head when I am checking my plants, I'm thinking "grow faster. Come on, more flowers tomorrow". Awesome to hear about this exciting part of your grow.
here are the pics as promised GC! this is day 15 on 12/12 and the pictures were taken on the girls downtime on light cycle which is why they look droopy. the taller one is a more healthy supposed "purps" strain from an LA club. the story may hold water due to the heavy indica that we observe in the plant. also a pic of the ferts we use, the actual growbox itself, and a pic of the other girl in the closet. she is about 4-5 inches shorter than the purps, because in the first 2 weeks of veg, chem ferts were added on accident and it suffered from some fert burn. it is now fixed an loving the organics. any questions i will answer, comments appreciated!

got a little bit of an update for u guys...... we actually just popped in our 250watt HPS last night. hopefully we can see some changes in the yield. ill be posting pics up within 24 hours so keep watching GC!
Looking good 420! I'd love to be able to use the HID lighting like you are switching too. You pics look nice...very green, and good LST work as well. The pic that half your face is in...that plant is very similar in size to my 5 week flowering GWS. LOL, I am sure yours will soon be bigger then mine though...LOL! Bro, no worries about the lack of replies. I was posting some frosty ass nug shot that got little attention...once your posting bug buds people will be more frequent to visit you! thanks islandmon, ive checked out ur grow and i am impressed..... very impressed! now only if the government could c how growing cannabis is not a crime nor should it be illegal, but what can u do? as i said before, check my grown out later!

This probably means you are overwatering her. I have lots of experience with overwatering (see signature) and I'm advising you to try less water.. It's better to have your plants droop because of underwatering then the other way around. (just make sure you check everyday so it won't go yellow) Plant looks good, keep it up!
thanks for the advice fear, but i dont think its cause of overwatering. it was on their dark cycle of 12/12 (light was off) so thats y they droop like so. we dont water everyday, we actually water every 3 days as opposed to 2 days like i said in my first post. to measure we use a one gallon pitcher and we use half on each plant. every 3 days a half gallon in a 2 gallon pot.... is this a bad thing? we used liquid karma and some botanicare pro bloom flower last night before the lights went back on at midnight. i cant wait to see how they are today.....
So you do 0.5 gallons in a 2 gallon pot every 3 days? Sounds like you are overwatering them for sure. I do 0.5 gallons in a 8 gallon container every 9 days and my plants are bigger. Seriously wait for underwaterig symptoms, don't be proactive with nutes and watered : be reactive! That way you'll know when it needs water instead of having to guess it. During my last three grows I've mastered my overnuting and overwatering skills to perfection so I know what I'm talking about...
o i believe u man, trust me this is y im here, to get help and to take notes aswell. ill bring it up with my friends who r a part of this too and ill tell them what u have told me. thanks fear, uve been a big help..... to add, ur plants r prolly bigger cause we r limited for space for this one grow. ull see them in the pics ill post, but they r trained like hell. we only have about 3 feet of vertical space, but because of the way the light rests on the box, it gets pretty hot about 4 inches down, so thats 4 inches less of vertical space that we need! they r tied down pretty good and it is working for the most part until we redo our growbox design. how much vertical space did u have fear? and because of the mostly heavy indica of our ladies, they didnt stretch as much as our indoor sativas which i will post on a way later date, one thing at a time here....
LOL I told you my plants are bigger not to show that I have better growing conditions. Bigger plants need more water! That's why I told you. Trying to tell you that you're probably drowing that poor girl. I have 6 feet of vertical space, but it try to keep the plants down to 2 feet. 1 foot above the 400W HPS for cooling, 1.5 to 2 feet between the HPS and the plants, 2 feet for the plants and allmost 1 foot for the containers they're in. This leaves some flexibilty to have the plants grow up to 3 feet, but that's the bloody maximum.
ah i understand fear. my partners are aware of the mistake and we will change it up next time. we used ferts last night for the last time probably so we will be using just water now with some molasses every 3 watering sessions. we may use ferts one more time, but it really isnt my call. thanks again fear, uve been an amazing help. any other questions i will answer.....

yes ill be posting pics withing 24 hours i hope. the light is off now and i will be going back at midnight when the light is on to get some canopy shots and some nice budshots hopefully. i have class early tomorrow so i may not get them up tonight, so after like noon tomorrow (cst) they will be up for sure. if not, they will be tonight/this morning....
