Hey everyone, I have recently discovered a new seedbank called Highgrade seeds. They have some amazing looking super strains. They say that they garauntee delivery, potency,quality, basically they garauntee everything. The super strains they sell claim to have some incredible yields, 3-4 ozies per plant in soil under a 1000w light topped once and vegged for only 5 weeks. And in hydro they claim almost 1/2 a pound per plant, with incredible potency. They show pics and grow journals for all thier super strains so you can see for yourself. It has got me very interested, check it out for yourself.Tell me what you guys think.
Site looks great to me, it's how I'd run a site if I was selling such a thing. Never bought from them though. They also appear to have semi-grow journals of each strain, on their forums or whatever they are...if I was in the market for some seeds I'd buy from them.
Sweet man I was thinking the same thing. I am just a noobie though so I wanted someone elses opinion. I am going to order from them for my first grow and see what they do. I will start a grow journal when I get started in about 2 weeks. I am going to prder some Black Pearl and maybe some of the Electric Fruit Punch. Later bro.
how did your plants turn out? HGS will delivery cannibis seeds at a great price. From 4-5yrs of moderating on his forums I would say you will get more hermies than anywhere else. There is nothing worse than pollen. EFP was a horrible experience for me. Black Peark was freaking phenomenal. Albeit the BP strain of today is whacked as with all other Super Strains(not the new ones) due to a wild break-up. Perhaps I am the only one holding the original beans anymore. My questions about his practices are: If he tried for years to outsource the seeding to myself. there must be other forum members there producing beans for him. Why would one accept certain risks to reward them selves with seedy weedy, a few thousand beans on the wholesale level is by far inferior to what a few lb's of chronic can fetch on the street. If you sucked ass at producing some chronic you just may settle for producing seed stock.
i was looking at highgrade too ive heard mixed reviews, some say his stuff is top notch others say eh he's not that great of a breeder, i dont know man, but if you do buy keep me updated...
Could you possibly elaborate on the wackness of the Black Pearl strain now vs. when you grew it before? Is the strain no longer stable or the yield/potency no longer acceptable? My curiosity is piqued since I've been thinking about trying out the Pearl. Thanks in advance for the help.
Black Pearl was a relatively new strain then, could be good,. The Avalanche was saved. Monster, Super Bud, BrainWreck, Clusterbomb were the others on the menu at the time, unless he convinced more people to send back beans I would guess its a new concoction, or from "Out Sourcing" I haven't seen that stable of a forum member base to say who is a breeder for him. I guess its a roll of the dice but for $55 I'd give it a shot, keep your eyes peeled for male flowers. The purple cindy is good. I would guess his NL#5 is safe being a major component in most crosses. The Electric Fruit Punch was a total hermie crop for me. Electric Haze had some too. I used THC Seeds in the Past, although its not the original owners anymore, they are getting my next order. More commercial crop based. Highgrade always delivered
Thanks for the help. I think the best thing is to try a couple of the strains, as the price point is more than reasonable if I'm able to get the amazing results that others have gotten from the "super strains". Thanks again and good luck with your future grows...
