Higher Than High

  1. There are a lot of rumors about ways to get higher like cough a lot or drink OJ, but a lot of them are just people trying to sound like they've got cool secrets. I figured seasoned tokers probably have heard most of these myths and busted a few themselves. Share your findings on anything that's supposed to get you higher!

    The only one I've tested is drinking orange juice, me and a buddy had tall glasses and a J. It works, we had a pretty damn good time at a meh party super high.

    I'm not sure about coughing a lot. I think you're just feeling a little woozy from the fact you just coughed a lot, I've never really felt higher after coughing.
     
  2. I always got annoyed when i was a teen smoking with others when they'd order me to "hold that shit in" everytime i took a hit. Thc is absorbed into your bloodstream pretty quickly, holding in a hit for 10 seconds does nothing but deprive your brain of oxygen for longer so you get a *very* temporary head rush in addition to your high, making you think you're higher. I never felt anymore stoned holding a hit in for 10 seconds than just inhaling and then slowly exhaling after a second or two. Probably rougher on the lungs to hold it so long.
     

  3. I agree, it absorbs into the lungs, now if you inhale, then inhale again and exhale you'll be higher then a mothafucker. :smoke:
     
  4. Mangoes have been proving to have a chemical in them that increases something with the thc receptors. I think i read it in one of grannys links somewhere
     
  5. ^^^True, eat a mango hour or half an hour before smoking.
     

  6. Sweet, I'll try this out soon. So since THC is absorbed so quick there's no point in baseballing the blunts or the hits or anything. (baseballing = hold it in until it comes back around to you, idk what other people call it)

  8. I've heard that within the first 5 seconds of the smoke being in your lungs 98% of the thc you can absorb is absorbed holding the smoke in any longer will just cause more discomfort in your lungs and deprive your brain of oxygen.

    I also have tried eating a mango 30 to 60 minutes before smoking. This dose work I felt a much more intense body high than I usually do from the same exact strain/bag I had.

    The highest I have ever gotten was on edibles. I fell asleep at 3 am woke up at 2 pm still baked off my ass.
     
  9. fresh glass of mango juice, man that shit is just to good to pass up and leaves you high for much longer!
     
  10. Eat mango, take Omega3 pills, do exercise before smoking (sweat a lot) or meditate.

    Meditation is awesome, about 15min is enough and after it you feel so relaxed and stoned.
     
  11. From my experience, when you cough, you do get higher. No so much the holding in part, but if you cough your ass off, you will get baked.

    I usually just inhale my enormous hit and gradually exhale and inhale untill smoke is all gone
    I tell everyone I smoke with, I care about them suffocating their brain cells
     
  13. I heard that folic acid taken regularly can increase your ability to absorb thc? Anyone else?
     
  14. 10 seconds without air doesn't really "deprive your brain of oxygen". Trust me bro, I've snorkeled and I don't get a head rush every time I dive down.
     
  15. Omega. Fish oil pills is the easiest way to get it. Plus it's extremely healthy for you. Everyone should take them anyways, but they also help repair your CB receptors

    You may not get a head rush, but it does deprive your brain of oxygen. You don't get a head rush every time you are deprived of oxygen. Also when you are snorkeling you aren't holding smoke in your lungs.
     
  17. im gonna tell you some shit that will 100% have you high as fuck, sleep for like 10 hours, when you wake up dont eat for an hour, and drink only water if youre thirsty, and then smoke, you will be high as fuck!!!
