Ok, dunno if anyone else saw this yet, but Nugporn (WeedMaps' YT channel) just put up part 2 of their HT cannabis cup coverage in Cali today, and at the end all of the awards were listed. They all seemed pretty fair, until Best Glass showed up... How. In the FUCK. Did Pure Glass get awarded 1st place?! Pure makes some shitty ass pieces and I've hit a large enough number of them to say that as a fact. Not to mention Pulse tied for second with one of the most unique pieces I've ever seen, the Hitman/Banjo Bumblebee collar... Had to post this here, pissed me off way too much. Clearly some of these awards were bullshit...
yeh pulse is def some high end shit, with some cool designs, but they won it last year too right? but Pure...hahahaha what exactly did these brands need to have to qualify for 1st place?
I'm not too informed on the judging, but I'm under the impression that it'd be based off a combination of artistic factors, function and innovation. None of which Pure has...
And that would make the Cali Cup event a joke... but i doubt it's rigged honestly. Just a joke compared to the official CO event.

From what I hear the people at the event were given ice cold water by bikini clad models at the pure booth on a hundred degree day. Nobody remembers some glass later they remember pure hooked me up. Wasn't there just what I heard.
It is a joke, and it is rigged. If you can find a way to explain how Banjo is getting beat out by companies like Pure and Pulse, then I will agree that it's not rigged. Banjo has more talent, creativity, innovation, and skill on the torch than most anyone in the industry, yet loses the HTCC Glass award multiple times to straight SHITTY companies like Pure. I can't decide whether that scenario or the cup itself is the bigger joke lol

Shady company and absolute shit glass. Can't believe this. There shouldn't be anything besides glass at events like this. No trashy bikini hookers to make the judges forget about how shitty their actual products are.... Just sit the judges down in a room and have a rep from each company present them with their pieces.
This just sounds ridiculous...I'm sure even one of Banjo's earliest pieces would destroy in terms of quality and artistic value, the "best" piece of glass that would come from Pulse and Pure. Does anyone have any pictures of this 1st and 2nd place pieces? I'm just flabbergasted....
honstly its who puts more effort into pleasing the people.. people ovi c the girls n were lik yes this company kills it not lookin at there glass.. but thats why high times it self is a joke.
