Hey, ive got a CFL grow going with 7 plants. My temps are too high (85-95 degrees F) but the plants are still growing great for 2 months now. and i have real trouble controlling temps since its a stealth grow. The temp outside is about 85 degrees too. I know ideal temp is 70 - 80 degrees. my question is how will my harvest be affected by this? the only thing ive read is that the buds are less dense as a result. is there any self contained cooling method i could use (other than an AC)? thanks
Swamp coolers may help you. Cheaper then an AC unit uses less electricity and creates a very humid environment.
Which kind of GR u use? Can u give some technical infos about or post some pics? Otherwise i think it's impossible to give u some suggestions Cheerz
GR? I can post up some pics sure. Im basically growing in a box, which has bad ventilation. Ive got a good sized exhaust and inlet, but air passage for them outside is blocked. There isnt much i can do about adding a pipe for the air as there isnt much space on either side. what i need is a self contained cooling method. AC would be great. but i dont have the space for it. Its a stealth grow so i need to be extra careful about fan noises, light leakage etc. If i were to grow at 95 degrees, what can i expect? Airy buds? The plants seem to be a little slow, but healthy.
GR mean grow room I told to another guy about "vertical AC", they have a very thin split ( that aren't easy to reach, i know already )..or column air fan with ionizer, good for smell either. Wait for some pics to be able to understand ur "situation"! Cheerz
