Is it better to veg my 2 ft x 4 ft tent with a 400 watt MH at 86 degrees or one tt96 watt 7200 lumens at 78 degrees? This is not going to be a problem in the winter but at least once a year this is going to be a choice i have to make.
I don't think that 86 degrees is too hot, but it's pushing it. Assuming that 400 is the stronger light I'd go with that. Keep some good ventilation going and you'll be fine.
I know people say it isn't ideal, but during veg I have had some very successful plants vegging at 86 deg, or even more. However when you want to flower her you best get those temps into the 70"s.
so what about the flo tube going 24 hr and maybe the mh for 8 or 12 during the cold of the night? and thanks for the comments i appreciate it. Just caught a manits for my tent too!
