Is it okay to grow cannabis in high temp. I have a good air circulation and fresh air coming in. Sorry for this question. TIA GrassJ4o2e0
it will survive at 36, but 26 should be the top temp to be optimum. if you have good air exchange and circulation then the ambient room temp may be too high.......?????
Yes the lowest temp is 32°c . I run my lights at night. The weather now is so hot like summer. My grow room is in attic. Yes have a good air exchange but im worried if they will suffer from heat stress. But thankyou for the answer mate . Happy growing. By the way outside temp is almost the same as to my growroom . some sativas can handle that much heat, but everything else will suffer. is there any way to draw air from the air conditioned house.?
Yes mate. Hope they will survive. Im planning to sprout afghan seeds. Hope they will like the temp GrassJ4o2e0
I have discovered that a lot of strains do like warmer temps, and will grow more vigorously when exposed to higher temperatures as long as there is adequate air circulation and plenty of CO2. For this reason, some growers will actually prefer the higher temps in their grow space and simply supplement additional CO2 so the plants can thrive in a hotter environment while the grower enjoys faster-growing and more vigorous plants. So, if you cannot lower the temperature of your grow space, perhaps there are other things you can do to help your plants thrive in a higher temperature environment. This is only one suggestion....I am by no means an expert, but maybe this will help to point you in the right direction so you can position yourself for a successful grow. I hope you figure it out! “Tyranny anywhere is a threat to freedom everywhere.” — someone awesome
I grow in an attic as well. Good luck. It isn't easy. I built a very insulated grow room. I get plenty of airflow. But I have fresh air being pulled in during summer, I need to run a/c. When it is 30 - 35 (86-95f) outside, it is around 45 (112f) in the attic. And even when the temps hit that high, my grow room maxes out around 32-33 (89-90f), and that's too high to grow at, with temps consistently being in that range. That's with pulling in cold air from the air conditioned downstairs. I have had 2 extreme cases of heat stress that almost killed my plants. Once at 49 (121f) and another at 55 (131f) . Both issues stemmed from an equipment failure. Now, I'm not sure on your setup. But you definitely are going to want to keep your environment cooler than the ambient attic temps. Trust me on this. Even with the a/c , the warmer temps affect growth. Especially in flower. I have noticed, my summer grows tend to yield less weight and have buds that are airy. I already purchased another a/c that is going to be installed in the grow room and I may seal it up and run co2 also. Or I may just quit summer growing. Supplementing co2 is good for high temps. But, when running exhaust, it just sucks it out of the room and negates running it. Good luck. I hope you can figure things out. Save some pennies and get an air conditioner when you can.
Yes mate i know i need ac when growing in attic. Thankyou for the answer. I appreciate it GrassJ4o2e0
