I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this thread or if this thread is even appropriate for this site, however, if need be, i will delete this if it is not okay. That being said, I was thinking about how high school transcripts are simply mailed to the university you are applying for with only a stamp that certifies them to be official. Hypothetically, it would be quite easy to fake the transcripts and mail them to the university you are applying for with your school as a return address, while the university believes that they are your true grades. I go to a good school and have no use for this. However, I was thinking about how easy it would be to get accepted as long as you don't apply for Harvard or Cambridge or something... Good idea? Bad idea? Feedback?
Regardless of that, any respectable schools' admissions office usually calls your references to verify if letters/transcripts are true.
If you had the grades that you had to do that anyways, what makes you think you'll do any better in College?
That wouldnt work. When I got mine mailed 4 years ago, they put an official stamp on it that makes indentations on the paper and you would never be able to get that stamp unless you actually went in a counselor's office and stole it. Not to mention mine put another stamp on the back of the envelope to seal it. The university would totally know if you had tampered.
Some people are rather smart but fucked around in high school and now they cannot get accepted at any decent schools. I personally don't believe it would be very dificult to fake but that is my opinion. It may be quite hard in other places.
