I know, and he was an idiot for doing it. However, the overall aftermath of this drug charge is going to negatively affect his life forever. When I said pigs I meant the CJ system in general regarding MJ.

 

Uhuh, and I have no sympathy for him because I've been smoking for 10 years and I haven't been caught yet. It's seriously not that difficult to not be caught. He had to have known what would happen, especially with a 3.7 gpa. Just another show of idiocy from another stoner that gets us no closer to legalization because of shit like that.

seriously tho.. i know theres gotta be cops because there are real crimes, but bottom line is, they are doing - and chose - a job that lacks justice. When they signed up for the job, they knew that they would be arresting harmless marijuana smokers... there are certain situations where cops could turn a blind eye to marijuana smokers, noone would ever know, but they dont.. they decided that the person cant do that and take it upon themselevs to fuck him/her over...

Your scenario up top isn't even close to being comparable to cops doing their job. They don't make the laws, they enforce them. I don't like cops either, but I hate dumbass tokers even more. This kid violated state, country, AND school law.

Really, think about it. Why should the cops let him get away with that? He's an idiot, probably a minor, so this won't affect him in the long run at all.

 

Yeah Police Discretion, If they were straight ass cops they'd arrest and take him in the car in front of the teachers, school and bullshit, ride around the block and tell him he's a dumbfuck and lecture the fuck out of him then let him walk home. There's a couple different possibilities that "Could" have been done. But fat chance tho

And if this is his first marijuana offense he won't be. Seriously, the kid deserves no sympathy. He has done nothing to further the cause of legalization but label himself another irresponsible stoner who likes to flaunt their marijuana smoking.

Millions of responsible tokers do it successfully everyday. This kid is just an idiot. It shows his ineptitude to be a responsible toker.
