I have not purchased any new glass in several years. I am looking to purchase a new piece, I am looking for heady glass. Grasscity I know has a shop but they don’t offer the type of selection I am looking for. I am looking for a glassblower and/or online shop recommendation. As of now, the best I have found is empire glassworks and B Wilson. However, It seems hard to find any real nice pieces from them that are in stock anywhere. I used to really like work by HBG from Santa Rosa, Ca. Does anyone know if they are still blowing glass? Not a fan of leisure glass. Thanks all!
You listed Ben Wilson as one of the best but you're not a fan of Leisure? It's damn near the same camp. Leisure (Luke Wilson) taught his younger brother, B. Wilson the trade. Just throwing that out there. Luke Wilson of Leisure produces some of the best percs on the market, hands down, and has for over a decade. If you're willing to shop online, check out Aqua Lab Technologies.
Luke Wilson make very functional pieces but doesn’t make any pieces that really grab me visually. I like cool looking glass. Aqua labs used to be my go to but I got say their stock is lacking these days
Go to a headshop and ask for a recommendation on a glass blower who does heady glass types of commission.
