growing in coco i kinda gave them some very high ph water this week, in the drips by mistake. I gave them 6.2pH yesterday to fix it but no improvement so far. tell me what i can do to save my plants please it looks kind of bad now. I tried spraying one of them with some alga mic in good ph too now, this was only a couple of hours ago. Tell me what I should do. Should I foliar feed with some nutrient solution? flush with corrective pH pure h2o? any advice +rep please my usual feeding is HESI coco @1200EC, + supervit. coco is mixed with perlite. plant is ~3 weeks into veg.
Looks to me like a magnesium deficiency. Very common problem, especially in acidic (ph below 7) soil. Watering with Epsom salt will help. Only use plant specific Epsom salt. Goodluck!
thanks dude. this isn't soil though it's coco. even more coco. though mag def usually shows on the bottom and middle leaves, while here it's on the young leaves. in terms of def, this would seem closest to zinc, manganese and perhaps sulfur deficiencies, but my bet is that it's a lockout, most likely of the ph type. i'm just gonna go about my stuff though, not gonna shock the hell out of my plants trying to fix it. just give them their water with their ph and their nutes. let them grow. (I just came back from the future and wrote this to myself as a reference)
