  1. Now for magnesium i will use epson salt . How much per gallon ? Do you suggest or a better source ?
What calcium do you like ? I do not want to hit the local hydro store and spend 100 . I am doing 100 gallons of water .

  2. as for Calcium,
Rock phosphate contains about 35% calcium
    Superphosphate contains about 21% calcium
Triple superphosphate contains about 14% calcium
these three will also contain Phosphorus*

Calcium nitrate contains about 19% calcium
    this will also contain Nitrates*

These above will supply Calcium but is not actually the intended purpose

    as for Magnesium,
    Magnesium Sulphate (epsom salt)
    Magnesium Nitrate
    Magnesium Chloride
    Magnesium Oxide**
these can all be used to supply Magnesium while other elements can also be found
    **not for foliar spray

***Limestone can be used to supply Calcium while it may prevent acidity*
***Dolomite Lime can be used but will also add Magnesium to media*
***Calcium sulfate dihydrate (gypsum) contains Calcium and Sulfate and can be used to add Calcium to media*

***not meant for hydroponics. Growing media only*

  3. I use masterblend from gecko grow.
    Bloom + cal + Epson.
The calcium and magnesium are cheap. 3kg for about $30.

Growing used to be expensive...like when I bought bottles of calmag...
These bags are huge, cheap and just as easy to use as liquid.
    I sound like a salesman.
NPK RAW is cheap as hell and on sale right now.[IMG]
