Now for magnesium i will use epson salt . How much per gallon ? Do you suggest or a better source ? What calcium do you like ? I do not want to hit the local hydro store and spend 100 . I am doing 100 gallons of water . Thanks guys . ladies
as for Calcium, Rock phosphate contains about 35% calcium Superphosphate contains about 21% calcium Triple superphosphate contains about 14% calcium these three will also contain Phosphorus* Calcium nitrate contains about 19% calcium this will also contain Nitrates* These above will supply Calcium but is not actually the intended purpose as for Magnesium, Magnesium Sulphate (epsom salt) Magnesium Nitrate Magnesium Chloride Magnesium Oxide** these can all be used to supply Magnesium while other elements can also be found **not for foliar spray ***Limestone can be used to supply Calcium while it may prevent acidity* ***Dolomite Lime can be used but will also add Magnesium to media* ***Calcium sulfate dihydrate (gypsum) contains Calcium and Sulfate and can be used to add Calcium to media* ***not meant for hydroponics. Growing media only*
I use masterblend from gecko grow. Bloom + cal + Epson. The calcium and magnesium are cheap. 3kg for about $30. Sent from my SM-T560NU using Tapatalk
I bought this today . I tested it . It does break apart in water really fast . Any advice how much to feed per gallon of water ? Its 23 % calcium and 10 % mag. Everything is labeled on the back of the bag if needed as in ingredients . It does not say how much for water at all . If it wont work ill use it for the house plants . 5 bucks , https://www.homedepot.com/p/Espoma-6-75-lb-Organic-Garden-Lime-100508617/203192761#overlay
umm... dont over complicated it, why wouldnt you use GH cal mag solution wont let me post the link to amazon item but search for this anywhere on the web and its golden General Hydroponics CALiMAGic 1 gallon of this stuff is 35$ and I buy just a couple of them a year with 100 gal setup
This stuff.. some Raw microbes and enzyme's (30%) off right now... Growing used to be expensive...like when I bought bottles of calmag... These bags are huge, cheap and just as easy to use as liquid. I sound like a salesman. NPK RAW is cheap as hell and on sale right now. Sent from my Z557BL using Tapatalk
