Hi! New to edibles.

I do canna capsules.........the taste of anything infused with cannabis makes me gag.

 

I like Brass Caps make with cannabis concentrate. Cookies are generally too sweet to eat more than one, and one is usually not enough for me. I can take a cap or two then enjoy a virgin cookie.

 

Capsules also. I don't see the point in infusing foods plus I have trouble eating only one of anything that taste good.

 

I make tincture and have used it to spike lots of stuff.,I put a dose on a cookie or snack cake/bar..,Also spiked jello and peanut"budder".,and my favorite is honey.,
Spiking food with tincture is great because I don't have to make a "batch of brownies".,I can have 1 brownie that gets me buzzin.,and then have a couple more without the tincture.,

 

I'm glad to hear that works for you. I'm reminded of the medicated Smarties and PEZ I used to make for friends. However, I don't tolerate a cannabis flavor and am not willing to do all the filtering @Tokintb12 does so the caps are perfect for me.

I like the infused soda with no cannabis taste I make but that is heresy here so....

 

If you can't taste the cannabis then what is the point in making the infused soda?

I liked the infused syrup I made. I'm not willing to do all the filtering you do to remove the cannabis taste. I work with concentrate and skip the tincture step when making edibles or caps. The drawback is my Snickerdoodles aren't strong enough for me as there's an upper limit of concentrate because of taste. That's why I like the caps. If I needed the sugar carrier like @PsychedelicSam it would be different.

@Headhunterpipes I am sure I am screaming is not good and hope something has helped by now.

 

Cannabis is funny that way about what pain it works for as some like mine it snuffs really well, others like oral pain it makes worse IME.

The only reason I filter so much is for demonstration
I can do one batch of tincture that lasts almost a year

Other reasons are the source of cannabis I use
This will be an issue soon as corporations get involved in every aspect of commercial cannabis
A lot of us cannot grow and have no idea what we are buying

The taste
Once they taste my edibles and feel the effect
Remember I have both sugar and oil in a lot of my edibles including some beverages where you can bury the oil
Many prefer the syrup in social situations because of the lighter high, not as sedate as the oil

There is another world outside canna caps
It is a good starting point for newbies

 

I still have some 210S and N-Zorbit M (have to find a recipe for that one) I can put to use. I'll have to make a tincture from some hash rosin and then will make some syrup. I need to review the tutorial. The concentrated tincture is easy with the hash rosin.
