Hi to all) I’m a grower from Ukraine, english is not my native and.. recently I was wondering, what’s the difference between “weed” & “weeds”? Does “weed” stand for a pot as well as “weeds”? Sites that I’ve seen that sell seeds and marijuana mostly use “weeds”. But why?
I have never seen that, can you post an example of their verbiage? Not a site link, just a copy, paste of the wording.
I believe when ‘weed’ is used as slang for marijuana it is treated as an irregular plural. This means that the plural form for weed when referring to marijuana is still just ‘weed’ and not ‘weeds’. I have however seen it as ‘weeds’ in Croatian, so it could be a linguistic difference.
