And was having some problems with night condition's , temp was about 60f at night and 82f in day so today i got a heater to warm up the night time sesh and when i returned to put the lights on i noticed tip's mainley all the new growth all curled under .... maybe stress related?? .. What do you guy's think?? I also raised the light to about 3ft away from the tops of my plants (to far??) coz i thought it might be the heat , but lower leaves are curling also so prob not the heat then?? , .
You are over nuting. Try 1x/week, not every 3 days. 1 drop of superthrive/gallon, not 10. Slow down and give the plants a chance. Wet
Hi , i forgot to change the watering schedule, that was when they were in 2litre pot's , I have just moved them into 14litre pots , 2 days ago, would you recomend watering once a week then? And OMG !! Someone recomended i use ten drops per gallon ,! me bad And as for the light should i move closer ? if so how close , i was told to do the back of the hand thin , but how long should i hold my hand under the light?? sorry for the question's every little helps as im a first time grower !
Water by the weight of the pot, not the calendar. Water well, to saturation and runoff. Lift the pot and feel the weight. No water until the plant starts to droop. Lift the pot and feel the weight then. After that, water when the pot is almost as light as when the plant drooped. Might take 5 days, might take 8. Whatever, that's a good wet/dry cycle. Back of the hand is good. 30 sec? It's all a feel thing that you have to develop yourself and by reading your plants. Wet
i highly second the notion of going by weight, and i would think 15-20 seconds would be fine for feeling the temp. if you can rig a thermometer up at the level of the top of the plants, do so if not already. i cant really tell in the pics but it looks like their burnt a little bit from over feeding or if its a heat/humidity issue, sorry if i missed that in the OP. keep doing what your doing, youll learn to read your plants and know exactly what their asking for
79-84 is too hot unless your runnin a sealed room and co2....bring them temps down and the leaves wont claw
Hi i am growing in a 1200x1200x2000 grow tent with a 4"rihno carbon filter and exhaust and two 4" ducting hanging from windows back to the tent for fesh air,. temp is a steady 82f and rh is 31% ,thats on a digital thermometer and on a murcury one its reading 68f , have you got any good ideas on bringing down temps , i cant afford a aircon unit b4 you say lol
whats the temps of the "fresh air" your bringin in? its winter where i am and "fresh" air from outside would freeze my bitches right up. did you cool your light properly??? one of your fans should be pullin air over your light and outside the tent to keep both of them cool. ur passive intake should be fine... at any rate man....82 is too high for you. you need to bring that down or your gonna have poor performance in that tent. somethin is wrong with your exhaust set-up.....either your light is not being cooled correctly or your fan set up to cool the light is not powerful enough... hope this helps bro....good luck
