i put a wet paper towel over the cups with seeds in it under the light. would that help the seeds any way in to sprouting into a plant? my humidity in the room is 31.
If their still seeds and your germinating, no light. If their planted in soil already, keep the light off untill the first one poke up seeking the sun.
that's a really bad idea. you're blocking out the light. it doesn't make any sense. If you want to up the humidity for the sprouting, cover it with plastic wrap or a plain plastic bag.
From what I read you really dont need a light untill they break the surface of the soil with their first set of leaves.
