i was wondering what watt light i should use i have like 5 of those shop lights the long ones but there only like 40 watts each is that okay??
Details bro. You going to do the whole grow just floros? You have 5 reflectors holding 2 lights each? (Making 10 bulbs?) (Or do you have 5 lights and no reflectors?) All of this matters b/c you have to figure out how many watts you're going to need for you growing area, and if you want to flower with floros you have different combinations of bulbs etc. Give us a little more info. Alright bro go to your local lowes or home depot or wal-mart. (This is assuming your in the states) And start to see what they have in the way of "shop light reflectors". This "reflectors" are basically just 4 foot long dottle ma bobbers that hang from the ceiling, hold your tubes, give your tubes power, and reflect the light. I feel confident that you can find one for about 10 bucks. That's going to hold 2 lights. I am growing with one 4 foot floro with two full spectrum tubes and my plants have broken the surface and gone upward in just 2 days. I am going to keep the floros for my first time also, I have 5 growing and am just waiting until they get big enough to tell which is male and female both tubes are 40 watts and put about 3200 lumens apiece and are almost right on top of the seedlings and they are on a 24/7 schedule for now. Just go for it and be proud, you have a greenthumb of bud.
