I was wondering what i should PH my water to for waterings. My tap water comes out at 7.0.. My tap water also comes out at 7. I use it after I let it sit out for a day to distill, works fine. I also use Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil which will correct pH to some extent, so that could be a reason why Ive had no problems. Most people like to keep their pH in-between 6-7
I'm also using Ocean Forest along with the whole Fox Farm nutrient line. And i usually correct my PH during feeding to around 6.7-6.8 and the runoffs around 6.2-6.3. I'm just wondering what people usually set there PH too when they are watering. So i guess 7.0 is cool, but what about the hardness in the water?? I'm still trying to figure out if it's really important or not. Someone help me out!
