Hey guys, new to the forums. I use marijuana recreationally at a small/moderate rate. I live in BC, Canada. I'm fairly curious on the science of growing the product and there's one thing that keeps coming up is the grow lights especially in the LED variety. One thing is I'm thinking of designing new LED lights that covers the entire spectrum of light to promote vegetation and flowering. Already got a few prototypes going but here are a few light specs on some different models I have going on. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and plenty of friends who are Electrical engineers! Economy Models - Small growth #1 14 LED's per strip 70 Watts consumed 5000-7000 Lumen output Air Cooled #2 1 low cost panel = 7 strips 36000 - 40000 Lumen 480 Watts power consumed Air Cooled High End - Large Growth #1 10 Led's per strip 49 W consumed LCD Panel for custom output control Water Cooled #2 1 panel = 10 Strips 40,000-50,000 lumens output 490 Watts consumed Full Spectrum+Red+Blue Water Cooled I'm not trying to sell anything here yet but just need to know I'm not wasting my time!
