I’m a 25+year smoker newly diagnosed with liver cancer & I’m now not able to smoke like I need/want to help me or nowhere near normal before my diagnosis in March. So I’m lookin to be educated on ways using resin. Any info & advice is greatly appreciated! Usually I just put ash with it and smoked it for all these years so I’m lookin to be able to cook with some. Also isn’t there a tea u can make to? Please let me know info on cooking food with resin or the tea! Actually ANYWAY to use resin will be great! Edible’s have been very kind to me but I can’t hardly find them at safe places so this will be resin cooking 101 for me & my husband. Any suggestions ideas advice is greatly welcomed! Have a great night all! Burn down

    Homework.
This works with anything Cannabis. For baking you'd blend some of the finished oil with warm, liquid butter your cookies call for.

  3. Everyone has their own way of making oil and most of it, in the end, is about the same. In this case I would listen to @BrassNwood .

If you want to just get the stuff into your system you can put a little RSO on a fig cookie and it will pretty much kill the taste. Mix it with coconut oil or butter and just spread it toast. I talked to one guy a couple of years back that told me he puts infused butter on baked potatoes. I like c-oil better than butter but each has it's place. I think infused butter would go good on peas and carrots. What I'm trying to say is you don't really need fancy recipes of high dollar edibles from a head shop.

Another thing I've been messing around with lately is the stuff that's left over after the c-oil or butter is infused. If it's only drained you might lose about 25% of oil. Squeeze it a bit and maybe only 20% lost. I have been blending the left over bud to a paste and mixing it with approximately equal amount of peanut butter and spreading it on a cracker. Put a chocolate on it and it's almost exactly like the old firecrackers we used to make. You would thing this would be a bit gross but it's really not bad.

Please keep us posted on what you do and what works for you.

  4. Watch to see how much edibles you need. Your liver is where the THC (from edibles) is converted to what your needs. It may be that you need to look at other ways to get it into your system.

American Shaman Pharmaceutical is getting heavy into kratom extract. It's a non-addictive pain killer that enters the system through the opioid receptors. They gave me a sample but I couldn't take it. It was just a 5mg smear in a plastic lab dish. They are supposed to bring me some capsules to try. The product is 7-hydroxy. That's what your liver produces when you use kratom. I haven't seen it yet but there is a similar product for THC. I can't remember whether it's 10- or 11-hydroxy, but what I've told is that's what your liver produces from THC. If it happens that edibles don't work for you you could maybe try one of these.
