Hermies?

  1. Hi guys, new here.

I started a pretty decent grow, Sensi NL#5xHaze, Jack Flash #5, Dutch Passion Mazar and China Yunnan from Ace Seeds.

Vegged for 30 days (18/6) and 14 days ago switched to 12/12, so now I'm in the 15th day of flowering.

One Mazar showed male and female preflowers 2 days ago so I chopped it down. I have another one next to it which is doing fine supposedly, it has only female calyxes with pistils. And pretty swollen.

China Yunnan showed only 2 male preflowers today while the rest of the plant has only female preflowers. I removed only the main preflowers and.. I know it has no point but this is where I started to lose hope and thought that desperate measures must be taken in order to avoid the complete destruction of the crop.

Anyway, what really got me confused was the Jack Flash plants. They have female preflowers everywhere, fat calyxes with pistils and all, but the main budding sites seem kind of... weird. I've grown a couple of times but my memory is fuzzy and these are new strains to me so I don't know if this is supposed to be natural. I took some photos (sorry for the quality!! I know..), so maybe I could get some help figuring it out.

The same thing goes for the Mazar. It looks female on the preflowers between the branches but the budding sites are exactly like the Jack Flash. Another northern lightsxhaze looks more.. hairy. But it's exposed to less light. So, are these hermies, or new growth?
