I have a hermie in flower and it got me thinking... What exactly causes hermies? I understand stress can cause it but how much? When? What kind? Moisture? Heat? Light? Physical? Nutrient? Do plants determine their sex from seed? In veg? In flower? My understanding is that most people pitch their hermies without a second thought... and after trying to pick all the male buds off I completely understand why... just when you think you have them all you find 6 more that opened and dropped their pollen... Does anyone out there have any experience growing hermies?
