I believe this plant has gone hermie on me, it came from a female clone but almost died early on from mildew. I brought it back to life and it's very healthy. Noticing it may have some pollen sacs and the hairs are not as white as my other plant. Is it safe to say I should chuck it?
100% female from what i see.. pistils and swollen calyxs... EDIT; Sorry didnt see second pic maybe a herm there mate.. that second pic looks concerning about male attributes.. but the first shows pistils from what i see ..
Hermie for sure. If it is a solo plant then let it grow out as you may get some female dominant areas to harvest.
Hermaphrodite from the unstable polluted gene pool that is todays cannabis seed business and every 15 year old that figures out that selling seeds for $5.00 to $10.00 each is a Master Breeder. How many different strains are we up to now? Sorry man. Ditch it and try try again. j
herm .. 2nd pic tells a thousand words. Chop the he/she and go again . Unless its your olny plant then fuck it see what 8t does
Thanks friends! It's definitely my fault, I stressed it out when I was a bit careless and it almost died from mildew. Will chop it down so my other babies and bloom
You didn't cause it......poor genetics plain and simple. Stressing a plant in veg does not cause hermaphrodites.
Yo i couldnt say it better.. the funniest part is people who said crap to me when i started just growing bag seeds i had from some mid grade bud.. everyone was like "your plants are gonna be trash you gt buy your seeds for $15 a piece " And then my plants were better than theirs lol.. and i told em .. half the seeds you buy are just bag seeds that grew and looked good soo someone pollinated em and slapped a name on em.. not some mutant super seeds from mars.. And usually mid grade crappy bud is just poorly cured or old and dried out .. not due to poor genetics.. Only shit part is the possibility for males.. but soo far i luckily have batted 1000 oddly..and from what i hear bagseeds do have a pretty high fem rate.
I’ve stressed so many plants it’s silly over the years in one form or another - the blame isnt on you; its on the unstable genetics of the strain.
Appreciate the info and support! It's my first go at it, my other plants look great, so I'm glad I was able to catch this before it was too late. Going to let it go to flower at a different site and see what comes of it
Make sure its well away from any other cannabis plants - remember; pollen can and will pollinate a female well over a mile away so if anyones got any girls outdoors... get some tweezers and start plucking balls. I wouldnt put much energy into it if I were you - good luck.
