so i read on another site that if you grow a plant and it becomes a hermi... and if it pollinates its self it will generate seeds, and that all the seeds will be female... assuming they are viable. so basically that awesome plant that i screwed up that im 75% sure will be hermi... is going to produce me a bunch of feminized seeds..?
so i figured it out... seeds from a hermi plant will actually almost always be female. however, even the slightest stress on a plant grown from hermi seeds will turn the plant hermi too.
Not true. Collodial silver is used to force a female to grow male reproductive parts. Collodial silver does not pollinate anything. The male flowers will have female pollen inside and when applied to any female(including itself) it will become 100% female seeds. female x female = female always. Now, the catch is whether the plant hermied on its own or via unnatural means (collodial silver). I presume that a plant that is naturally a hermie will be more likely to create a hermie seed. hermie x hermie = hermie. or hermie x other female = female w/ up to 50% chance of becoming hermie. Whereas a plant forced to hermie via collodial silver will be much less likely to create a hermie seed unless the plant already has natural hermie DNA.
