I recently had a situation where a hermaphrodite went unnoticed and pollinated everything else. Nothing wrong with a couple of extra seeds, but my question is I heard that these seeds are useless. Is this true??? What happens with a hermaphrodite pollinates your standard female??? I hope this is not a total loss.
I had this happen to me on my first grow. I planted the seeds I got, they were all female. I thought it was great until 90% went hermie. I would save myself some time and just order a pack of good seeds if I were you.
some will argue that those resulting seeds are feminized. some will say not. most (myself included) would say that those seeds have a way higher chance of being a hermie, in which case you'll have the same problem again. check out drchronic.com. femaleseeds.nl, nirvana and paradise all sell femms in four or five packs which make it sooo much more affordable. i was just browsing that site, and i can't for the life of me decide what i want to grow next. too many choices. i'll sleep on it. either way, good luck with your grow.
