  1. lol, yeah, why not. we could start a commune, our own city and be high when we want. like we do now, only it\'s legal. we could have our own laws, and schools and shit.

that would be sweet. there is such a place too. it\'s called christiania, and is a small part of copenhagen, the capitol of denmark. back in the day, hippies occupied the entire area, declared it a \"free-town\" and made their own laws. cannbis is legal, and all other drugs illegal. cops are strictly off-limits. in the streets there roams a herd of \"wild\" dogs. these are trained to attack people who run. figuring that cops would run when trying to make a drugbust. it also helps keeping the stress levels down. you take your time in christiania. and who runs stoned anyways?

  2. all sounds good sides that dog thing

I could be runnin cause I wanted to get in shape, instead I get a bite taken out of me :/

  3. i like to run stoned sometimes you feel it alot more

  4. only problem, is there\'s a ten year waiting list to move there.... and some really sketchy people liver there already.... I\'ve checked it out..... ( by the way cops aren\'t off limits, they just look the other way...)

  5. hey thanks alot for posting this and answering a couple things I was wondering about..... thanks rmjl:)

  6. I mentioned this in a another post but I will again because its important to me. This is a forum dedicated to the advancement, enlightenment, education and sharing of the plant that we love. Thank you owners and moderators for not allowing it to be a dumping ground for immature, inappropriate behavior.

Best of Luck to This Site

  7. Couldn\"t have written in better!

  8. i keep hearing you guys say how the yahooka got messed up. what exactly happened? and why are like half the links broken links? anyone care to explain the downfall of yahooka to me? thanks peaec

  9. i got a simple explanation for ya...

    assholes.

it was explained best concerning battlenet which has a similar problem as yahooka does. so here is an excert from a Diablo2 related site (just change it in yer head to fit yahooka insteada battlenet)

\"While there are a lot of really cool people playing Diablo II, you\'d never know it by looking. This is due to the squeaky wheel syndrome, which states that you never notice a wheel until it\'s squeaking, at which time you oil it, or else just curse a lot and turn up the stereo, while hoping it stops by itself.

The squeaky wheel theorem applies to this topic, since while most people out there are pretty cool, you don\'t notice them, since they aren\'t annoying idiots. You do notice the annoying idiots though, and remember them, and two of them in a chat room of 50 people can leave 48 people pissed and vowing to never get online again. Actually it would do that to 49 people, since each of the annoying idiots would think the other one was the squeaky wheel, while never suspecting that they themselves were half the problem, and had just been wished death by nearly four dozen complete strangers. This is an achievement of sorts; I mean most people need to make bad Necromancer jokes to get that sort of adulation, but some people have the gift of attracting hatred with far fewer words than the rest of us require.

My point, if I can remember it, is that most people on Bnet are fine, and you don\'t notice them; you just notice the annoying ones, and they stick in your mind so you tend to think everyone on Bnet really does need to be beaten with a sack of Iraqi National Museum pottery. When it\'s actually no more than oh, 5 or 10% of Bneters.\"

so what happened to yahooka was that most cool guys came here leaving nothing but squeaky wheels \"squeeking\" at each other all the time.

  10. do you just ban the user name or ip?

  11. Very well said. And i have to agree about the sqeaking wheel digit sometimes you just have to turn the radio up. :)

    ick

  12. haha, yahooka is much better than this place

    yahooka forever!!

  13. yahooka never. :p

  14. hehehehhehehheheeee i just looked at yahooka for the first time... laughs at all the little 15 year olds posting porn links

  15. yes yahooka is a very sad sad place...

  16. very nicely said rmjl.

from what i heard yahooka used to be a cool site. but i checked out the forums somewhat and wasn\'t happy with what i saw. a few assholes can really ruin it for the whole. i\'m pretty confident that the same won\'t happen here. the administrators, moderators, and blades (for the most part) are too dedicated and care too much to let it.

  17. SO true about b.net digit...

I played SC since it first came out..
played D2 for awhile, stopped though, got borin after awhile

but im SC for life...you play starcraft at all digit?
if so, once im un-grounded from comp (1 week)
ill play ya! I warn ya..i\'ve been playin since the begginin of time..lol

  18. no stylez, i dont play sc. 2 reasons why...
    1. if i\'m gonna play a game of any genre, then usually i just find out which game i think is the best and play it and only it. so if i wanna play a top down war strategy game... one with a futuristic slant... its gonna have to be total anihilation.

    2. From my experiences on Bnet, the people in the chat aplets who play SC generally act far worse, far more agresivly childish than the people who play d2x. \"diablo is so fucking gay, all diablo players can suck my cock for being so childish running around hitting monster sprites.\"

  19. man i first went to yahooka and i thought it was pretty bitchin because of all the links and information and crap and the \"you know youre stoned when . . .\" thread (funniest shit ever). man i think we should steal their thread they suck anyways. then i was like fuck dude i wanna buy a bong and i came to grasscity and then i said fuck that im joining the city.

  20. It\'s good to see the anti Yahooka ism is in evidence in this thread too.

I\'m sorry but one or two flamers a board does not make.

Yeah a few Yahookans came here, but they came because of the different vibe (and in some cases cos they couldn\'t stand the heat - like me).

You guys might like the happy happy, nicey nicey approach that is promoted here but some like a less contrived environment. In the real word people aren\'t banned if they say nasty things to you, pampering caters to the lowest common denominator IMHO.

I like it here BUT I also like Yahooka and it\'s hard to like a place though when many of it\'s members are so judgemental against people in many cases I list as friends.

There is as much bullshit here as in Yahooka. It might not be aggresive bullshit but it\'s still bullshit.

Don\'t take this the wrong way, as I said in another thread, I\'m not making trouble just sticking up for people who you have ALREADY slated but who have no opportunity to defend themselves.

If you don\'t like Yahooka, don\'t go there.

What\'s being acheived by sitting here and moaning about it?

[EDIT - Besides, through the efforts of the Yahookans as a community the issue is getting cleared up slowly and surely and without the need for censorship]
