I topped this girl once in veg early because her branching was very early on strong and she bushed out nice for me. Sent from my LGLS660 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
So this gall i just keep pulling her top down and letting the bottom stuff shoot out to try to form a bushier gal(lst) Shes an unknown blue a naturally grows tall and skinny and doesnt branch well so i prolly wont run her again but the smoke is fire and wanted to try again. She started growing exactly like the first time i ran her (tall and skinny) so at least i know for sure Sent from my LGLS660 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
yeah pitbull, now is the time to LST them get some pipe cleaners in the craft section of wallie mart and tie the bottom down to one side so its stays vertilcal when you pull the top over the other direction then use another pipe cleaner to bent her over the opposite direction as the 1st one it may bend easy or may take a day or two, it will cause the plant to redirect its efforts and create other tops and they will all fight for this dominance just fem/top a time or two and you will have a low uniform profile plant with lots of tops and if CFL's are your light then get some socket spliters at home depot or lowes to get more light on them
How long have they been on 12/12. And for lighting you really need to figure out current actual watts that you have the 7 gals under and we can help with additional lighting if option or less plants if need be. Sent from my LGLS660 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I know lots of cfl's are not real cheap with the spliter or the type that plugs into a power strip and you still end up limited,I bought a 4' 4 lamp T5 setup for my seedlings and early veg stage ,I got tired of dealing with bad cfls and always trying to add more and place them perfect it was a real hasel, can you purchase a LED light I heard some Mars hydro reflector series are cheap and work good??
1 week and half they been on 12/12 6 plants 1 plant in tube Sent from my SM-N910P using Grasscity Forum mobile app
When to flower actually is determined by how much height you have to work with. Plants cant double to triple in size during bloom so keep that in mind Sent from my LGLS660 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Oh i didnt know that was an option. Def ditch the cfls dude. If you get a big watt hps you will need to vent it. A bigger led is much cooler but much more expensive also. It will pay for itself when you start harvesting though. Good luck and if you want to keep your plant count that high you need a bigger lamp for sure. LED all the way... Look into something with white light technology, and CREE components. Sent from my SD4930UR using Tapatalk
