Here is a question for all of you suckers

  1. Im sure only a few around here are actually against pirating music enough to not do it. I think that is probably pretty unfair but im lame enough to still do it.

Either way though, do you think its less bad to do if the person is dead? Because the person who put all the work into it isnt recieving any benefit so is it better then or just as bad?

  2. I'm 19 years old and the last time I bought a CD was Jay-Z's Black Album. Words cannot express my thankfulness for the internet and it's ability to give me every fucking cd I want... for nothing. In the end, it gives me more money to spend on other things... like weed, alcohol, and various types of drugs. :D

  3. Woah that's a great point and I had never thought of it. +rep

  4. If I really like a band I'll make a point of going out and buying their CD.

I'm very conciouss about my consumer impact and I weild it accordingly.

  5. ^agreed. there are only a select few bands out there that deserve my money

  6. Stealing is stealing. If theyre dead makes no difference.
I steal music all the time. If I really like the band, they'll still get some cash from the t shirts and cds I buy.

  7. I say fuck RIAA if they are suing people for using a song in a youtube video and not paying the artist fuck them. If the artist is in it for the money and not for the love of playing fuck them. If the artist spent more time singing than, worring about a little kid downloading a song without paying $1 for it the world would be a better place. They don't relize that if people like the artist they will make money (concerts, movies, tv) so I see them as just being money greedy bastards who have enough.

I give my money to artist who havent been tainted with the taste of green (hard to find these days:()

  8. Im with angers on this one, the artist shouldn't be in it for money they should be in it for the music. like the singer from moby said: "i don't care how people get my music as long as ther listening to it."
