  1. Hi,

So here is my 2nd closet grow. It is looking way better than the last grow but the sugar leaves are turning yellow and dying, just like my last grow, where all the sugar leaves turned yellow and dried up and died. and i can't figure out why.

The fan leaves started yellowing (light lime green to yellow) and dying pretty early since 3rd week of flowering, now it is at 47 days (7th week of flowering). I tried upping potassium during week 4 and adding cal-mag starting week 5 and 6. the fan leaves are all pretty much gone by now. and the sugar leaves are turning dark yellow, and feels sort of crispy, not like the fan leaves yellowing before.

I water it with AN orgainic about once a week, and have never water with no nutrients added. Flushed onces around week 3 then added nutrient right after.

So what i really want to know is why is the sugar leaves turning this dark yellow? how should i treat it? my last grow tasted really bad and i think its because of this yellowing as well. if i dont treat it, i think it might die like my last plant in about a week?

    strain: strawberry gum
    9 weeks flowering period.
    pH of soil: 5.8 - 6
Soil: peat moss / coco coir / perlite / earthwarm casting
    Indoor around 26-29 degree celisus.

  2. i wouldnt worry they are supposed to start dying your buds look great just keep on trucking maybe pluck the dead ones

  3. if your are growing in half coco you need to water more often until runoff why mix coco and peat?

  4. i don't remember where i read it but it was in someone's recipe and i had alot of coco on hand so i did it that way. is it bad to use coco? and would organic fert cause the plant to nute burn or nutrient lock out?
