That really sucks, especially since you were using it for your email. I was on some other forums once and some guy was talking about a website he was making, and put the domain he would use. But I guess he didn't buy it yet, because minutes after he posted this someone else bought the domain.
It made me look so proffesional. I'd just write down Mike@mylastname.com and people would always ask a question or two! All it was, was a $9.00 investment for the domain and I used the free Google Apps business edition, GMAIL/Docs/All that jazz. I can still login and everything... but I can't receive email
Yeah I have the same thing for my email. My dad did it years ago and my whole family has their own address.
