Henna is a temporary tattoo applied with a sqeeze pen, the ink usually made out of roots. Used primarily in Indian and Nepal for wedding ceremonies. I was fortunate enough to be part of many weddings in Nepal including my own. I am american married to Nepali wife. Here are a few links to videos of HENNA being applied before the wedding.

  2. I love henna tattoos. I'm heading to India in a few weeks and definitely plan on having one done while I'm there. I'd get my whole body done, but that might be a little weird.

  3. where in india are heading? If you get a chance go to Varanasi, and you definately have to check out Nepal if you have the time . I think you will like it better than India's machoism and male shouvanist attitude! Regardless India is an amazing country and is were i study the best music on the plante, INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC. You may want to check out some concerts while there, they are unbeleiveable, I study tabla in India and nepal. Just wanted shout out.

  5. I'm going to be going to Rajasthan, Delhi and Agra. Unfortunately, I won't have time to get to Varanasi or Nepal, but I already have that planned for a future trip.
