Greetings, With my first grow coming to an end soon, I need a better way to transplant and with larger size pots. I was wondering what others have done transplanting a hempy? Last time I went from solo cups to 5 gallon buckets with fem seeds. During transplant the perlite does not stay put. This time around Ill pop 5 reg seeds and keep 2 or 3. I dont have alot of veg space 2x4 room. My idea is to veg in (5) 1 gallon pots till I can sex the plants. Eliminate the male plants and transplant the girls to 3.5 to 5 gallon buckets. Heres a small drawing I made of the 1 gallon pots to ease my transplanting. The base ring will be removed first. While holding the split pot together, its will be placed in the 5 gallon bucket. Begin backfiling around the split pot and slowly raising up. After the split pot is backfilled and removed, the top ring can be removed. BL
