for a 12 liter hempy bucket how much water do you mix the nutes in, same question only for 16oz plastic cups (seedling mini hempy)
just use enough water so that when you fill the bucket there is some run off through the hole in the bottom. there's not really a set amount of water needed. you might not want to be feeding seedlings with nutes. are they rooted yet? if no, don't feed them anything but plain pHed water. if they are rooted, then you can use 1/4 strength nutes at first. amount of water would be same 'formula' for a regular hempy bucket. just use enough so that you have some run off out of the hole in the bottom of the bucket/cup.
It says to mix in 1 gallon of water tho, can you leave the nute/water mix sit for an extended period of time?
I use the Lucas formula and you can break it down to 16 oz cup. I'm using GH flora micro and bloom. Calls for 8 ml micro and 16 ml of bloom per gallon. 8 16 oz cups in a gallon so do the math. Full strength is 1 ml micro and 2 ml bloom per 16 oz cup.
So are you saying mix the nutes/water in a 16 oz cup and give it to the hempy? Would that not still casue a lot of runoff
What size bucket? Would that not cause a massive amount of overflow in a 12 liter/3gallon bucket
Oh 5 gallon bucket my bad..so half gallon or so for 3 gallon will give u round 1 qt runoff
Where they're that little it's not as important because theyre not using much nutes..just a little runoff should be fine
Thanks man, any idea how much I would use for the 16oz cups?
I start mine out in solo cups till they are old enough to transplant. I have 5 of them in 18 oz solo cups and they're 5" tall (topped). Currently watering them at half strength every other day.
