Hello people. We are jumping straight into a hempy bucket grow. My 6 hempy buckets have been flowering for about 3 weeks now (I always count my flowering times from the day I flip the 12/12 switch). I've also got some clones in small cups. They will be hempy buckets pretty soon too. I grow perpetual without keeping mothers.

I've been growing on and off for a long time now. The strains I'm rocking atm are White Rhino and Shiva Shanti II.

Question. How do you post pics in this forum? I wanna show you what I got in my grow garden.

  2. Does anyone know how to post pics please?

  3. are you trying to upload a URL picture or an attachment?

  4. I'm a little low on time, i'll just tell you how to do both: to upload a URL, go to the icon above the quick reply chatbox to the left of the speech bubble ) the image of the mountains and copy paste the URL of the image into the box that pops up

to upload an attachment, click "go advanced", then click the paperclip, in the box that comes up, click "upload"
select the file you wish to use, press accept or finish uploading or whatever and then click on the paper clip again, and select the images you want to attach (you can attach several images this away)

  5. Testing to see if this works...

My pics have the "Ganja Man" watermark because this is my name on another forum.

  7. May i ask what method you used to get colas like that on your plant?

These pics should show you how my hempy buckets rock. I've been doing this perpetually for almost a year now and put it this way, I get stoned on White Rhino and Shiva Shanti II EVERY night:yummy:

In the first pic, I use aerated tap water. The bottles stay like this for two days with the caps off to de-chlorinate the water. Then I add my HYDRO PASSIVE nutes to the ph'd water, then water until you get run off (pic2). I get from rooted clone to the beginning of 12/12 in about 10 weeks, then they go in the flower tent where they spend another 10 weeks. Just before they go in the flower tent I take clones from them again. Therefore, for the past year, I've never had to buy my weed from no one.

I use rockwool with clonex for my clones. When the roots pop through the rockwool I xplant in see-thru 16oz cups with detachable sleeves in sheer vermiculite, so that I can see the roots before they get xplanted into their hempy buckets. I dont let soil anywhere near my garden. My hempy buckets medium is 3:1 perlite/vermiculite mix.

How to deal with run off. I've seen this question asked many times on other hempy bucket forums. Some noobs even attach a tube to the drainage hole, thus complicating things. I'm the biggest KISSer in England when it comes to my ganja girls. The most simple way to deal with run off if you have more than one plant in a tray, is to get a cloth or sponge, soak up run off, then wring the cloth/sponge in a separate empty bucket or container as you can see in the pic. Simples;)

  11. I have a friend that grows in Hempy buckets and loves it too. I'm using Coco for one of my plants and I love how easy it is!

  12. ^Yep, coco works well according to other users, but I like the perl/verm mix because its re-usable. Simply shake it off the massive rootball after harvest into one of them rubble sacks and re-use. I don't even bother rinsing it. Not sure if you can re-use coco with or without a rinse?

  13. I have seen some folks that reuse their coco with no problems. AskEd is the coco guru on GC and he recycles his into his outdoor garden and grows kick ass tomatoes. Either one of these ph neutral mediums works well and it way easier than changing out the nutes for hydro or trying to get the soil mix just right.... I'll try one of these Hempys next go around for sure. F this hydro work...

  15. Enjoying this one bro, looks nice
    What size tent ya got?

  16. Aiight Bill mate. My set up is pretty cheap and simple. I flower in a 4x4 tent, veg in a 3x3 and clone in a 2x2.

I guess I shoulda posted my setup in the first post but I'll do it here instead. Better late than never lol...

    CLONES:
    2x2ft tent
1 x cheap LED panel (14w or some bullshit. waste of time really)
    2 x 45w (6400k) cfl
    4 x 23w (6400k) cfl
    propogator, heat mat, small fan

    VEG:
    3 x 3ft tent
    1 x 65w (6400k) cfl
    3 x 45w (1x2700k and 2x6400k) cfl
1 x 70w metal halide (only used when xplanted into the hempy buckets)
    1 x oscillating fan

    FLOWER:
    4 x 4ft tent
    1 x 400w hps
    1 x oscillating fan
    1 x extractor fan/ducting
1 x small fan used for intake/under canopy airflow

And that's about it, besides the nutes (which I'll cover some other time).

So yeah, just 400w in my flower tent giving lights to 6 hempy buckets in a 4x4 tent. Seems small? Well I got a pic of a 400w hempy grow right here. Now this is not my hempy grow, I seen it in another forum and thought wow!
My cam's shit (I only gotta phone cam sorry), but the attached pic should give you some idea

It's cool to see more hempy grows on this forum. I've been trying to get the knowledge out there about hempy buckets.

  19. Then you did a good job mystery. Yours inspired mine, it's the only way I'll grow from now on.

  20. ^Yeah, hempies rock dont they? Also, I like to do a bit of defoliation. Before, my plants was so leafy light penetration was kinda a joke with my 400w. Now I can see rays of light shining on the popcorn at the bottom of the lollipops:D
