Hempwick

Discussion in 'Other Smoking Accessories' started by headsmaster, Nov 14, 2010.

  1. Just picked up a small rope and i honestly can say i never wanna let a lighter touch my weed again haha anyone else tried or into using a hemp wick?

  2. stuff's the bomb. do you use the regular rope, or the thick kind?

  3. the regular, i picked up the smallest one they had to try it

  4. I just last week started using hempwick to light my buds, and it is a world of difference. And I refused if possible to ever use anything other than a hempwick, or rip rod.

I cant tell if its the bees wax that adds more flavor, if its just the absence of the taste of the butane.

but it tastes soooooo much nicer.

God damn it man, how am I supposed to write my paper, when Im here talking about this.

    Ugh I love/hate procrastination.

  5. I get comments on it all the time, my friends are always like it's easier just to use the lighter; especially when it's windy out and I take a little extra time lighting the wick.

It makes a world of difference, so do solar hits. You definitely taste a little of the beeswax/rope but it's so much better than butane taste. Butane gives me a bad after taste now

I think it also helps out long run on you spending money on lighters and fuel 9if you don't use a bic, gross). I personally use the I-tal hemp wick. Never used Beeline, but still, It's all I use. I never use a lighter anymore (for like 6 months now). I converted my sister into using hempwick, and same for a few other people I know. I gave one of my good friends a length of about 4 feet for his birthday gift (it came off a roll of 200 feet, so I gave him enough to try it, but not too much, if he didn't like it, and it became a waste).

  7. Same, on the rare occasion that I even smoke, I never use a straight lighter! Always got my Beeline ready to rip!

  8. Good stuff, I go with the Ital Hempwick works wonders..:smoking:

  9. I have tried both Ital and Beeline and personally I prefer Beeline, its a bit thinner so it goes out easier and it gives less of an extra taste. It smells and tastes different.

  10. Yeah the Ital is quite thicker, it is two ropes woven into one. So if you un-weave the two, its like getting two for one.

  11. I was at my smokeshop yesterday to pick up a bong due to my glass bong breaking and I noticed they had hempwick in so I thought I'd try it out. I enjoy using it because it saves me lighter fluid and it tastes better in my opinion.

  12. what are the advantages of the thick wick compared to the regular?

  13. I still believe that even if the Ital and Beeline were the same amount of rope it would still taste/smell different. But thats just me.

  15. Although I <3 Beeline a lot...I made my own for the first time a couple weeks ago, and I haven't looked back since. Spent $20 and have close to 800ft worth of it now lol. Have been giving it to friends and stuff, they love it!

But yeah TL;DR Beeline is fucking awesome.

  16. I want one !
    Where can I get one?
I imagine almost any smokeshop & online ?

  17. Bingo^
Beeline is available at most good shops and can be purchased at freshheadies online

I suggest getting either a case of individual packs(around 20 packs or something) or a spool, it is defintly cheaper, and you WILL love it haha

  18. How'd you make your own?
