Hemp Fuel?

    I came across a couple sites last night that proposed if marijuana were legalized, the oil industries would go out of business and as such it's still made illicit. Hemp can be made into everything paper (instead of using trees) to clothing to biodiesel (the same way vegetable oil can). It sort of makes sense once you think about it - that the reason behind pot's illegality is solely about the money - but what's your take on it?

    i THINK the first ever combustible engine ran on hemp oil

    I'm pretty sure you're correct. Henry Ford did construct a car made of stiffened hemp fibers, which ran off of ethanol synthesized from hemp. I don't know for sure if it was the first fuel ever, but I know it's been done.

    Hemp fuels wouldnt be the only thing putting oil companies out of business...
    I just read an article the other day about GMC releasing a hydrogen car! its gonna be a full size car too like their denali. Its half hydrogen half electric.


    The fact is that there are many new possibilites for fuel that just need to be designed and tested until solid, and once that point comes....bye bye oil and oil companies. It is happening, slowly but surely

    awesome! i was lecturing my father about all this stuff yesterday, now i have a chart to show him too. FACT: if industrial hemp was legalized it would of brought America out of the great depression. capitalist assholes.
