Hemp cord question

    I went to my LHS today to buy a new pipe and Beeline. I have never bought Beeline, so I decided to try it. The shop did not have Beeline, but he had hemp cord that he insisted worked the same way. Because I know the guy and have bought pipes from him before he gave me a packet of the hemp cord for free. I fell in love with the stuff after a bit of practice. My only problem is that I have some trouble cornering the bowl with the cord. Are there any general tips/tricks when using hemp cord/Beeline.

    holding the flame on the side of the bowl, and not necessarily above the bud itself works best. when you inhale the flame will lay over the edge of the bowl when you inhale. it takes practice, but its not that hard to conquer.
