Hemp allergy?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by TechNOfiend, Aug 4, 2008.

  1. My mom is allergic to hemp, and i just got some papers that just happen to be you think i will be allergic too since my mom is? or am i cool?
  2. i dont think allergy's are like passed down, but idk....rub it on ur arm, if shit isnt rite after like 10 minutes, you'll know whether or not ur allergic
  3. Hemp = *nearly* the same as Cannabis
Yes there are strains that have very small THC levels, but in the end it is the same. So I would guess that if you can smoke it you probably aren't gonna get an allergic reaction from touching it. Your mom might not actually be allergic to it *I don't know the extent of it*, she could have sensitive skin, which with a poorly made "rough" hemp clothing/bedding could cause rashes.
  4. If it doesn't make your skin irritated or break out in itchies and your eyes and sinuses are fine, then I wouldn't worry.
