Help!

  1. Just reformatted my computer with a burnt disk and now im missing these drivers "Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus", "Ethernet Controller", "PCI Simple Communications Controller", "SM Bus Controller", and "Video Controller (VGA Compatible". Any help is appreciated!

    Im running windows xp 32 bit.
    And my pc is a HP Pavillion a6433w

  6. Keep in mind that HP is only your first resource for drivers. HP didn't actually manufacture the components, so the manufacturers themselves have drivers available as a plan B:

    It's tricky since I'm halfway guessing at the exact chipsets you have installed, but here are a few of the important ones (I think). When you're trying to ID components that need drivers sometimes in Device Manager you need to go to the advanced device properties to look for additional clues.

    Audio
    Realtek

    Ethernet
    Realtek

    Graphics
