  1. Hello,
I’m growing some Zkittles feminized from Nirvana outdoors in Arizona. The temps are around 50-80 in the day time right now. Only 11-12 hours of daylight, so I bring them in under a light to complete their light cycle. I haven’t fed any nutes or even pH balanced my water.. my plants were doing perfectly fine until today. They’re in 1 gallon pots as of now and was soon planning to put in 5 gallon. What could have caused this and what can I do to make it bounce back?

  3. I’m using this stuff called Recipe 420, theyre 20 days above soil, it’s not dry actually, it was accidentally left in rain a day ago. I don’t have a pH reader. But willing to get one to fix my problem. 18/6. 12 hours outdoors right now until the days get longer. My indoor light is a basic light. 250w. 18in above. Humidity stays around 30-50% as I’ve been using a humidity dome too since Arizona is a pretty dry place. I did plan on transplant into a 5gal, would that possibly help me?

  4. Give me a recommendation then instead of saying ugly soil. I came here for help not my grow to be shit talked.

  5. Do you live somewhere where you can get marijuana soils let's say. A grow store hydro store something like that? The wood chips are going to make your babies have a difficult time growing through it. Plus they need to get air to their roots. So most of us have found that using fabric pots as your final pots are totally the way to go and pretty much doubles your yield. As far as soils if you could get nectar for the gods number four that would be awesome. If not I would say get some happy frog or promix. I never throw my soil away I have bins that I keep it in. 3 weeks before I decide to plant something I amend it like this

  6. Okay it might seem daunting to you at first. But if you do this you will only need to water in veg. You can go a good 2 months veg. So when you go into flower you use about five bottles from nectar for the gods for flavor enhancing and a little extra bloom power. 20211120_072315.jpg 20211103_070746.jpg 20220224_110905.jpg Screenshot_20220224-083229.jpg Screenshot_20220224-083223.jpg Screenshot_20220224-083212.jpg Screenshot_20220224-083206.jpg

  7. I wasn't talking shit to start about. Please don't come in here with an attitude! You get a lot more flies with honey than you do vinegar! I didn't want to waste my breath and then you didn't answer me back. A lot of people do that on here so I was just giving you a brief answer! Have a good day

  8. But if you can get either nectar soil or say fox farm soils AKA happy frog. You won't need to do any of the stuff I showed you to get it grow in. The soil comes with enough stuff into it to get you through two to three weeks. So you could just have your bloom and nitro stuff to start. But don't ever throw the soil away. Now that should be a huge thing to be like oh okay I don't have to throw this stuff away and I don't have to do anything but water in veg what does that save you

  9. Follow me and this is what u will have! Oh the other thing with nectar for the gods is it's a calcium-based nutrient. That means you won't be seeing all the spots and stuff if you just keep your pH in the right range. I'm talking about when you mix up feeds and you pH it correctly then whatever happens in your soil like this you don't worry about 20220221_093113.jpg

  10. Okay so I know money can be tough. And I always did one little piece of the time when I was broke. I'd buy a good light and then I wouldn't be able to buy something for a while save up my money for the next thing like a liner that going to my plants. So if you can just get a decent bags of soil And you get some nutrients that are okay with living soils. You could just get a three bottle regiment instead of doing all the stuff like nectar for the God does. The soil well really make your plants do well. No matter what nutrients you use. I'm not too sure salt nutrients will work as well as nectar for the gods does because it's more organic

  11. Your go
ing to need a ph meter to properly water, your growing in an organic rich soil, so I’m guessing if they were left in the rain yesterday, we’re they dry before the rain? If. Not, and they were already wet you could have an issue with “baby roots” trying to push through compacted soil. What ur seeing on the leaf tips is “probably” slight nutrient burn from a plant that isn’t receiving enough light and then got its roots soaked in nutrient rich compacted soil. They probably can’t do what they need to and are getting over fed, go buy a bunch of perlite, it’s at lowes/Home Depot, run a bunch of water through it (as I don’t beleive you can buy perlite from there that isn’t miracle grow enhanced) and then mix it 50/50 soil perlite and don’t pack your soil and up pot.

  12. So fox farms and perlite 50/50, transplant to the bigger pot, and pH reader and I should see some kind of better result?

  13. Also is rainwater typically in the right pH? I do collect rainwater for all my non cannabis plants

  14. Your plants were not doing fine until now, they should be much bigger with 20 days growth. You do need to check the pH of your water at least once, the water here in the southwest is frequently a bit alkaline and you want it a bit acidic, plus your potting soil contains lime. Checking the pH of run off may be a good idea. Your plants look starved for nitrogen even though your potting soil contains some nutes. You can probably do just fine with the potting soil you have but you'll need to fertilize. Those large pieces of bark and wood will suck nitrogen out of the soil until they decompose so fertilize with growth nutes. Get rid of the humidity dome, they're great until the seedling pokes its head above ground but then they need to be removed.

Give consistent hours of light which is sometimes a challenge when moving plants inside at night. Use a timer to turn the light off and an alarm to remind you to put them out in the morning. You don't want to forget and leave the light on all night or forget to put them outside until 10AM, it'll confuse your plants. Remember it's the hours of continuous darkness that matter, not the hours of light.

  15. I think OP's plants will be vegging a lot longer than 2 months since they will be outdoor plants. Probably closer to 5 months than 2. It's still a long time until the solstice.

  16. Alright, I ended up purchasing happy frog soil, perlite, a digital pH reader with pH up & down, Xtreme Gardenings Mycorrhizae root enhancement, and Home Depot 5gal buckets. Should I see some better results with making these improvements?

  17. Went ahead and started new seeds on top of these 2. Tropaya is the strain. Using right off the bat;
    • Mykos
    • Happy Frog soil
    • Proper pH water (6.0-6.2pH)
    • Perlite
Germinated in a paper towel. Once root has been exposed, I lightly coated the seeds with myko, made the hole for the seed to go into, coated the hole with myko, and did not pack down the soil. Going to be doing a side by side and see if starting off like this (what was recommended above) gives me better results than dealing with a now sick plant that’s trying to bounce back due to poor medium quality and what not. All plants will be outdoors and growing in the desert. Never grown outdoors honestly. Will post throughout time on all these plants. Hoping these improvements show. I appreciate everyone who chimed in with recommendations, tips, advice, etc.
