i had to switch my timer to plug into the mains and my power extension into the timer now the timer has called it night time for the plants but im not sure if the extension will power on or not!? it is one of them reel extensions with the heavy duty plug with test button on it :s will it power back on automatically?
An extension is just an extension, there will be power as long as it's plugged in.. as long as your timer and everything is plugged in properly the timer will do it's job
You said your in lights out right now? If you can get the timer and test it it might set your mind at ease.
it is on of those big heavy duty 4 way extensions 13amp with a switch that you have to manually press when you turn the power on :/ iv manage to sort it now , thanks though
