Who said you were doing anything wrong? First, what is it that you're concerned about, and secondly you should really explain your growing methods explicitly. Everything. J
Well the edges of the plant are a little rough and cupping upward, one even looked like a brown burn spot, it's my 1st grow and I Just want everything to go smooth. Dwc grow I added half the nutrient solution suggested , 600 W HPS the lights are about a foot away I mean from the pics do they look healthy ??
They look good to me... Maybe a little burn on the one, but still healthy. If you really want some kind of feedback: Try 1/4 strength nutes for the first 4 weeks. 1/2 strength from 4-8. After 8 weeks gradually increase until signs of burn again. Don't worry, a little burn won't kill her, that just her way to let you know you're feeding her a little too much. Also, 12" might be a little close for HPS for such little girls, lots of heat... maybe back then away to 18"-24"
I guess they look ok, but the foil is really not a great reflective material and can cause hot spots. Secondly, I run a 600W MH/HPS light and I don't run either bulb that close. Maybe with a cool tube I would. I grow 6 plants under my light though so the lowest I go is about 18 inches as I do need some coverage.
Information needed. Just going off the pic, you need to get rid of the foil. Make sure you have drainage and 50/50 perlite in the mix. How old is it?
Thanks man I really appreciate the feed back definietly gonna ease off the nutes and yea i moved my lights to around 18" They're goin on 2 weeks and I have to do some research on the 50/50 perlite I have no idea what it is, Do I need it for DWC ?
Looking good man. As long as they are nice and green they are good to go... If you see bugs of mildew (check the bottoms of the leaves daily) or bugs spots of discoloration then you need to do something. And that day will come. In the mean time read, read, read... Overload yourself with information, when a problem comes you will know when to go for the remedy... One is fatter just because of genetics... Don't sweat it... Each plant is a little different, even some clones will look different from each other. Different temps in different spots on the grow room, different wind, different humidity, different amounts water, nutes, you touch this one more than that one... There s thousand environmental reasons...
Coolthanks for the info man I really appreciate it. I definietly fill myself w info to the point I think somethings wrong though lol but I'll keep posting and hopefully they stay looking pretty. It's my first grow so I'm tryna play the master Gardner
