Help! Just passing 6 weeks flower, and the last three days I have noticed the tips of the leafs are burnt. Almost like nute burn. Progressivly getting worse, there are beginning to yellow as we'll. I understand later stage of flower plants use up N but it's on random leafs not the older low sets. Getting ph testing stuff today. Any ideas off the top of your head?? Dyna-gro bloom 3-12-6 1/2tsp per gallon. Water as it needs or once week latest. Cfl operation 1-55w 1-42w 3-32w
I would say that your soil drains pretty poorly if you only water once a week into flowering. That aside it looks like salt build up to me, do you make sure you get runoff from your plants when u water. If not each time at least time to time? I have to water every two days with my setup granted its hid so temps run in the 80's. Is this an 8week finishing plant or 12? If it's 8 weeks I wouldn't worry to much about nutes now. I would just flush my soil next watering and let her ride it out. She also is starving for light, long spaces between nodes small airy buds are all signs of this. Not ragging on your setup only pointing this out. I am pretty positive it's not from lack of N, as you said that would start low and climb. Did you spill anything chemical on the leaves that will do this same thing. Ph is important to your plant however it's also not likely to cause issues if you didn't change anything this late in the game. Basically if it's 8week strain relax let the girl finish l. 12 week strain flush her out and than restart giving nutes watering after. Also its water nutes water nutes in your grow right?
