Did you literally just cut them and put them where they are? If so this happens sometimes... give a day or 2 and it should perc up. You could also place a ziplock baggie over the whole thing to give a humidity dome effect which should be done for all fresh cuts anyway.

Others cut top off 2 liter bottle and place that over the clones for humidity dome. I use domes until roots hit water usually. I have seen them completely lay over when I was new to cloning and just placing fresh cuts in buckets. They would usually come out of it after day or two but best way to do clones is to take the cut in the cube and put the whole thing in zip lock bag (same instructions that come on cube package). Obviously cube needs to be soaked in pH'd water. Just leave it zip up in the baggie until you see roots (4-21 days depending) and then transplant into net pot. Put the ziplock upside down over the plant and net pot base when the net pot is in the bucket and don't remove the bag until the roots on bottom of cube reach the water.

A good healthy clone will root in 4-7 days, 10 would be pushing it. If you take a clone from a plant in early flower it will take longer to root and up to 3 weeks.

Going to continue my "Simple" guides and do a write up with pics about cloning and seed starting today I think. So if this is not making sense or needing pics just give me a bit and I'll have a nice write up done.

  11. How much light will do harm should i start my 18/6 now or 24/7 for a day or two?

  12. If these are NEW clones, use a humidty dome!

light intesity is not important right now. You want to maintain ideal temps within the humidity dome with humidity as close to 100% as possible for at least a week. 18/6 is fine.
