Help Yellowing Leaves?!!

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by NJtoker187, Jun 18, 2007.

  1. I have 6 outdoor plants and 1 or 2 of them has yellowing and almost crunchyness on their first set of spiked leaves. They are 2 weeks old and have 4-5 sets of leaves. Just transplanted them into better soil. Also most are 6 inches high and the leaves are only 2 inches long, is this normal? Any suggestions? Appreciated.

  2. what you describe sounds like fert burn what brand of soil are you using now & before

  3. The soil I just transplanted them into is 1/2 organic topsoil, 1/2 regular plant soil(laying around for possibly 3 years) with perlite/peatmoss mixed in, and possibly a little mulch. I previously was using just regular soil next to a creek and it actualy seemed to be working better. Now that i think of it i might have mixed a little MG liquid all purpose plant food with the water. Should I not have done this?

    Thanks for any help.
