Hey guys, I am trying to figure out how to best run my set up. I have a 4x4x6.5 grow tent, a 600 cool tube watt Hps, a 6 inch inline fan with speed controller, a 6 inch by 20 in carbon filter, and insulated ducting. I am putting this into a walk in closet (10x4x8) I am open to venting into attic. Lets hear some ideas buddies. I am
By that do you mean in the attic or what?
If it doesn't take too many bends or isn't too far away, in the attic. If not, then just outside the tent for the extra room in the tent. I'm trying to think of a setup but many tents have different places for vent ports. Do you have any specific questions or the specific tent's link?
There would only be one 90 degree turn in the tent and then straight up to the attic. Maybe I leave the cool tube open on one end, have ducting on the other and out of tent into attic where it connects to the inline fan which is connected to the carbon filter. That way it's pulling it all out, heat and smells.

I'm thinking of doing the very same thing shortly. The thing is I'm not sure what type of growing medium to use? What do you guys like using in your grow tents? Soil in pots, auto pots, bubble ponics, flood drain??? What works best for you???

Great never grown indoors before so I was not real sure. Will stick to the soil mix i make for my outdoor grows. Thanks BYOweed
